Ale is an outgoing and cutting-edge designer who greatly sharpened my thinking as a teammate. He brings a relentlessly positive and collaborative attitude to work and always has his finger on the pulse of where the design discipline is going. At Appcues, he redesigned numerous core features, improving usability and time-to-value. He showed he was capable of thinking big picture while obsessing over the details that delight users. Whether you need someone to breathe new life into an old system or pioneer a product from the ground-up, Ale is the person for the job.

Ale is absolutely great to work with. Not only does he spend a lot of attention to design but he also works very collaboratively to incorporate team and engineering feedback to make sure that designs will work well for the product as well as with the design system. He also does a great job of breaking down work as it nears the horizon and responds quickly to product changes.

Ale is a designer with extraordinary communication and agility. What sets him apart from all the designers I know is his interest and research in the fields he works in. It surprised me when he presented his research about how to implement a feature he designed on react-native to help the development team.
